BOBBY’S BATTLE

Bobby was diagnosed about 18 months ago with terminal stage 4 brain cancer (glioblastoma, GBM). He has had three brain surgeries to date and is currently undergoing chemo along with multiple supplements and various medications.

I am continuing the fundraiser we had for the Barbozas back in November selling this apparel to support them. As most of you know this family is close to me. Bobby is a local man who worked at the water department in Dennis for 30 years. He can no longer work which is killing him—as many of you know, he can’t sit still! He is the husband of his loving wife, Nicole, and his two beautiful daughters, Alexa (17) and Ava (16). I want to do everything I can to help them during this continued difficult time.

Bobby is doing well right now due to all the money we have raised from the fundraiser. There may be another big auction/fundraiser in the future to help the family handle the continued medical care. Bobby is seeing multiple doctors out of the state that insurance will not cover (costing anywhere from $1,500-$3,000/month with doctors, supplements, and medications). Every bit of money is helping and getting him the best possible care in order to keep him healthy.
